Programming

    I am the author of an open-source circuit design system called Electric (available from the Free Software Foundation). Electric is used all over the world to design integrated-circuit chips. I currently work with a team of Electric developers at Sun Microsystems.

Family

    I am married to Amy Lansky. A former Computer Scientist at SRI International and NASA Ames, Amy is now a writer, Homeopathic advocate, and more. Her book, Impossible Cure: The Promise of Homeopathy, is a bestseller on Amazon. We have two children: Izaak (currently attending Stanford University, studying Computer Science) and Max (currently attending Gunn High School, interested in animation).

Volunteer

I am a reader at the Northern California branch of Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic. My specialty is reading computer textbooks.

I work with the National Vaccine Information Center to bring the US Government's VAERS database to life.
