Family

I am married to Amy Lansky. A former Computer Scientist at SRI International and NASA Ames, Amy is now a writer, Homeopathic advocate, and more. Her book, Impossible Cure: The Promise of Homeopathy, is a bestseller on Amazon. We have two children: Izaak (currently attending Stanford University, studying Computer Science) and Max (currently attending the University of Southern California film school, studying Animation). Max has an entire website full of his animations.    

Programming

    I am the author of an open-source circuit design system called Electric (available from the Free Software Foundation). Electric is used all over the world to design integrated-circuit chips. I currently work with a team of Electric developers at Oracle.

Volunteer

I am a reader at the Northern California branch of Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic. My specialty is reading computer textbooks.

I work with the National Vaccine Information Center to bring the US Government's VAERS database to life.
