I am married to Amy Lansky (since 1984!)
A former Computer Scientist at SRI International and NASA Ames, Amy is now a writer, Homeopathic advocate,
and more.
Her first book, Impossible Cure: The Promise of Homeopathy,
is a bestseller on Amazon and her second book,
Active Consciousness: Awakening the Power Within
looks at consciousness and meditation (among many other topics).
We have two children: Izaak (born 1988, now a programmer for Google in Sydney, Australia) and Max (born 1991, now an animator in Los Angeles). |

I am the author of an open-source Computer-Aided Design program called Electric (available from the Free Software Foundation). Electric is used all over the world to design integrated-circuit chips. |

In 1987, I wrote a textbook, Computer Aids for VLSI Design, which describes the algorithms used to build integrated-circuit design software. |
